Last weekend we ventured up to Homer, NY for the National Sweet Teen Pageant. The pageant was held in a beautiful area and I can't wait until next year! We stayed at the Quagmire Inn and where greeted every morning with a nice homemade breakfast. It's sort of sad that the highlight of the weekend was the food but this girl has I has priorities and we where greeted with a relentless spread of goodies and great hospitality from the locals there. They just seemed to keep it coming, so it was a good thing my dress was stretchy!! The festival was quaint but full of homemade crafts and entertainment. Okay, that said and out of the way the pageant was extremely competitive. I will be photographing America's Outstanding Teen in a few weeks and I can only imagine the talent that will be presented there after being wowed by the runners up! Teen Bethany Stuchell took the crown home with her to West Virginia! She is beautiful girl and a very graceful dancer!
